Mechanical Engineering Capstone Presentations

The goal of the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to address a variety of societal needs.
With a solid grounding in the principles and practice of mechanical engineering, our seniors are ready to engage in ethical approaches to engineering, with concern for society and the environment.
Join us in celebrating the work of students from this year’s Mechanical Engineering capstone course. ME seniors have been working for two quarters in teams to design and develop engineering systems addressing the most pressing needs of human society with a focus on clean energy.
Come learn about the approaches the students have taken to develop solutions to issues ranging from harvest yields in rural India to harnessing the power of wind through new technologies.
