CARE Scale X Design Virtual Reality Demo

The global humanitarian aid and development industry has a problem: innovation is everywhere, but examples of successfully scaled solutions are far less common. Even when we achieve impact at scale, the process can take decades. CARE, a leading organization fighting global poverty, is changing this through its Scale X Design Accelerator.
CARE’s Scale X Design Challenge is a first-of-its kind accelerator program that brings together international teams with promising ideas and provides these teams with the skills, mentorship, and resources needed to scale their innovations. This year, CARE is bringing six SXD teams to Stanford for a pitch night!
Experience the work that CARE does on the ground through virtual reality (VR) at the CARE in Virtual Reality booth at the Haas Center (first floor) on February 8, 2pm-5pm, and February 9, 10am-1pm. CREAM will be provided to the first 30 students to try on the VR goggles on February 8.
