Cardinal Careers Thursday – Public Service Through Podcasting

In 2014, President Obama awarded On Being podcast host Krista Tippett the National Humanities Medal at the White House. He praised her for “thoughtfully delving into the mysteries of human existence” and “avoiding easy answers, embracing complexity and inviting people of every background to join her conversation about faith, ethics, and moral wisdom.” Join Krista and On Being Studios executive producer, Liliana Maria Percy Ruíz, in an open conversation about their work — both in audio and as a public life and media initiative — which seeks to renew inner life, outer life, and life together. Their conversation will also discuss the shifting landscape of journalism, and how podcasting and other forms of media play a role in that shifting landscape.
